HMS Briton and HMS Tagus (1814)

Commanded by Sir Thomas Staines, these were the two British ships that stopped by at Pitcairn Islands on September 17, 1814 for the first time after settlement in the islands and found John Adams, the last of the Mutineers on board HMS Bounty that occurred on April 28, 1789.
