I thank postcrosser Nina from Russia for this card which shows the Russian Cruiser Aurora, currently preserved as a museum ship in St. Petersburg. She battled the Japanese Navy in the Russo-Japanese War. One of the first incidents of the Communist Revolution in Russia happened on the Aurora.I am delighted to have this postcard of Aurora which carries significant history and played a stellar role and participated in both World Wars.
As far as I know, postage stamps to commemorate Aurora were issued by Bulgaria, Albania, Poland.
Also, there are few ship stamps of Russia on back of card, issued over various years.
